Helpful Ways to Pray

Would you like to learn to pray? Or pray better? Join our informal course: Helpful Ways to Pray. Philip West used to run this course in Sheffield where it was very popular. Helpful Ways to Pray offers some ideas on these and other questions:

What is the best place I can find to pray and how can I find time?
How can I stop my mind from wandering, and how can I concentrate on prayer?
How can I learn to listen to God when I pray?
How can I pray for others?

Nothing in the course will embarrass you. You don't have to learn anything, or say anything you don't want to. It is open to anyone, whether churchgoer or not, whether of any faith or not, and whether you pray a lot or hardly at all. You can invite friends and family as well.

There will be two separate but identical courses:

Monday afternoon, 1.30 for 2pm till 3.30pm, Patrington Church Hall, from 25th September.
Thursday evenings, 7 for 7.30pm till 9pm, Ottringham Village Hall, starting 28th September.

Each course will run weekly for 6 weeks.

Don't worry if you have to miss a couple of the sessions.

It is free but please book your place by contacting Philip West on 01964 603199, or use the contact form to send a message.
